Overview
We are exclusively retained for a Senior Vice President of Marketing search in the Los Angeles marketplace. This role is based locally, requiring 2-3 days in-office each week. An MBA is required, along with proven experience leading complex marketing strategies across multiple brands.
Targeting $300k base plus upto 20% bonus
Key Role Highlights:
The VP of Marketing will oversee the planning, development, and execution of all marketing and consumer strategies across multiple touch points, including:
- Digital Marketing
- Advertising & Media Planning
- Public Relations
- Social Media & Influencer Marketing
- E-commerce & Data-Driven Growth Strategies
Reporting directly to the executive team, this leader will develop and implement long-range plans and innovative marketing strategies to drive competitive positioning and business growth, specifically for Direct-to-Consumer and B2B channels. Additionally, the SVP of Marketing will focus on internal branding to enhance employee engagement and foster a cohesive company culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop digital marketing and e-commerce strategies for a company with revenue exceeding $150 million.
- Balance brand marketing and performance marketing to ensure long-term brand growth and short-term sales optimization.
- Manage paid acquisition, retention, and influencer marketing programs to drive customer growth and engagement.
- Oversee the existing marketing team, reorganizing and scaling its capabilities to meet growth objectives.
- Utilize data analytics to measure, report, and refine campaigns based on KPIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing goals with overall business objectives.
- Partner with creative teams to ensure brand consistency across all channels.
- Seamlessly execute marketing campaigns, events, and product launches to enhance the company’s competitive position.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA is required.
- 15+ years of strategic marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a CMO or equivalent leadership role.
- Proven experience managing a P&L with the complexity of multiple brands.
- Expertise in both B2C and B2B multichannel marketing strategies, including digital, e-commerce, and direct-to-consumer.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing marketing teams.
- Strong financial acumen with a track record of data-driven decision-making.
- Resourceful, collaborative, humble, and down-to-earth leadership style with the ability to influence and sell strategic concepts.
- Exceptional skills in brand building, media planning, and corporate social responsibility programs.
- Experience leading internal and external brand initiatives to drive cultural alignment and market impact.
- Digitally native, with a background in e-commerce-heavy environments.
