Job Overview: The Vice President of Marketing will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing the marketing strategy to solidify our client’s leadership position in the fight against global antisemitism. Working collaboratively with fundraising leaders, this individual will lead a team in executing a vision that strengthens our impact on a global scale while fostering local community engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals and values.
- Collaborate with fundraising leaders to create integrated campaigns that drive both awareness and financial support.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 12+ marketing professionals, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Assess talent needs, recruit top-notch marketers, and build a high-performing marketing team.
- Oversee and optimize omni-channel marketing efforts, with a strong emphasis on digital marketing initiatives.
- Drive initiatives to increase global community involvement on a localized level.
- Act as a key spokesperson for the organization’s marketing efforts, maintaining and enhancing the firm’s reputation.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of marketing experience, with a strong track record of leadership and strategic impact.
- Proven experience in the not-for-profit sector, preferably with a focus on philanthropy and cause-related marketing.
- Passion for combating global antisemitism and a deep understanding of related issues.
- Exceptional team management, mentoring, and talent assessment skills.
- Solid experience in omni-channel marketing with a particular emphasis on digital channels.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing marketing teams.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Location: Candidates located in the Greater Boston area are strongly preferred.
Compensation: The compensation for this role is in the low $200k range.
