We have been exclusively retained by a top Private Equity firm to identify a VP–to–SVP Head of Demand Generation with deep expertise in B2B performance marketing, revenue creation, and enterprise demand generation.

This is a highly strategic, VP-level leadership role designed for a hands-on, numbers-driven marketing operator who thrives in complex, long-cycle B2B sales environments and enjoys working across multiple high-growth portfolio companies.

You will act as a trusted GTM and demand generation advisor to portfolio CMOs, CROs, and C-suite teams—driving measurable pipeline, revenue, and EBITDA impact through ABM, full-funnel digital, AI-powered marketing, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

Drive Measurable Revenue & EBITDA Impact

  • Identify and execute value-creation initiatives with portfolio marketing teams that directly impact pipeline, revenue, and profit

  • Track and optimize leading and lagging indicators across demand, conversion, and revenue

  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Data, Technology, and Finance

  • Lead initiatives including segmentation, ICP definition, org design, hiring, budget optimization, vendor strategy, and AI implementation

Lead GTM & Marketing Diligence for New Investments

  • Serve as the marketing subject-matter expert during deal diligence

  • Assess GTM readiness, demand engines, and growth potential for companies with $50K+ ACVs

  • Present findings and recommendations in clear, data-driven investment committee memos

Scale Portfolio-Wide Marketing Enablement

  • Contribute to and evolve portfolio marketing programs, including:

    • Weekly marketing insights and benchmarking

    • Quarterly virtual events and an annual in-person summit

    • Playbooks, frameworks, templates, and AI artifacts

  • Share best practices across portfolio companies to accelerate growth

Build the Marketing Ecosystem

  • Expand and strengthen a best-in-class vendor and talent ecosystem

  • Identify agencies, platforms, consultants, and operators who add value today and in the future

  • Act as a connector across the broader B2B performance marketing community

Innovate & Differentiate

  • Bring an entrepreneurial, operator mindset

Who You Are

Proven B2B Demand Generation Value Creator

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B demand generation, performance marketing, or product-led GTM

  • Strong track record driving pipeline, revenue, and profit—not just leads

  • Deep understanding of how marketing supports attract, land, expand, and retain motions

Enterprise & Mid-Market Operator

  • Experience with 3+ month sales cycles and complex buying committees

  • Hands-on experience with ABM, multi-channel performance marketing, and AI-driven workflows

  • Comfortable operating in PE-backed, high-expectation environments

Data-Driven & Operationally Focused

  • Analytical problem solver who loves breaking down complex GTM challenges

  • Fluent in metrics, dashboards, experimentation, and optimization

  • Excited by Excel, dashboards, and modern AI marketing stacks

Influential, Trusted Leader

  • Persuasive communicator who builds credibility quickly with executives

  • Able to influence without authority and collaborate across functions
