Director, B2B Demand Generation Performance Marketing

Location: Boston, North | On-site / Hybrid Only

A global marketing technology firm is seeking a Director, B2B Demand Generation Performance Marketing to lead the strategy, measurement framework, and performance architecture for integrated, multi-channel demand generation programs that drive qualified pipeline, revenue velocity, and measurable growth.

This is a highly strategic, performance-oriented leadership role, focused far more on direction, optimization, and cross-functional influence than hands-on execution. You will own the demand generation strategy end-to-end while managing, mentoring, and developing a small team of high-caliber digital marketers responsible for execution across channels.

Reporting to the SVP, Performance Marketing, this role partners closely with Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Marketing Operations, Digital, Corporate Communications, and Sales to ensure global alignment and consistent performance against pipeline and revenue goals.


What You’ll Do

  • Own and evolve the global B2B demand generation performance strategy, aligning campaigns to pipeline creation, conversion efficiency, and revenue outcomes

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small, high-performing team of demand generation and digital marketing professionals

  • Act as a strategic performance leader, setting priorities, frameworks, and success metrics across regions and channels

  • Define campaign objectives, KPIs, and performance models tied to pipeline contribution, speed-to-lead, CAC efficiency, and sales cycle acceleration

  • Partner with Product Marketing to translate positioning and messaging into high-impact, conversion-focused campaigns

  • Collaborate with Digital, Content, Creative, Events, and Marketing Operations teams to ensure integrated execution and performance optimization

  • Work closely with Field and Partner Marketing to adapt global strategies for regional and partner-led execution

  • Use data, insights, and experimentation to continuously refine targeting, messaging, channel mix, and demand pathways

  • Own campaign reporting and dashboards; deliver clear insights and recommendations to senior marketing and sales leadership

  • Oversee demand generation budgets, resource allocation, and agency partnerships to maximize ROI


What You Need to Succeed

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B demand generation, performance marketing, or revenue campaign marketing within enterprise SaaS or marketing technology environments

  • Proven success leading performance-driven demand generation strategies tied directly to pipeline and revenue

  • Deep understanding of the modern B2B buyer journey and integrated marketing ecosystems

  • Experience managing and developing strong marketing talent in collaborative, fast-paced environments

  • Strong ability to partner cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to turn insights into action

  • Excellent strategic thinking, storytelling, and executive communication skills

  • Comfortable operating in global, matrixed organizations

  • Positive, grounded leadership style with a focus on accountability, learning, and continuous improvement


Compensation

  • Base Salary: Targeting $200,000-220,000

  • Bonus: Up to 20% based on performance
