Location: On-site — Boston, MA or Menlo Park, CA
Compensation: $275,000–$290,000 base + performance bonus + equity program

Overview

We are seeking a Vice President of Marketing to serve as a full-stack, enterprise-grade marketing leader driving measurable revenue and profit impact across high-growth B2B businesses. This is a highly visible, hands-on executive role requiring strong executive presence, board-level communication skills, and deep expertise in enterprise demand generation and ABM.

The ideal candidate has built and scaled marketing organizations in less mature environments (0→1 or 1→2), supported up-market motions with $50K+ ACV customers, and partnered closely with CEOs and executive teams to influence growth strategy, pipeline creation, and long-term value creation. An MBA is a significant plus, particularly for candidates with strong financial, strategic, or operational depth.

This role is on-site and requires regular collaboration with senior executives, portfolio leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Marketing Leadership & Value Creation

  • Act as a senior marketing leader driving revenue, pipeline, and profit impact across enterprise and mid-market B2B businesses.

  • Identify, prioritize, and execute high-impact marketing opportunities that accelerate growth and improve unit economics.

  • Establish and track leading and lagging indicators tied to pipeline velocity, revenue, CAC efficiency, and profitability.

Demand Generation & ABM Excellence

  • Lead and evolve sophisticated enterprise demand generation and ABM motions targeting $50K+ ACV customers.

  • Support and guide up-market GTM strategies across complex, long-cycle sales environments.

  • Partner closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, and executive leadership to ensure tight alignment between marketing strategy and revenue outcomes.

Executive & Board Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted marketing advisor to CEOs and executive teams; prior experience reporting into or working very closely with a CEO is essential.

  • Act as the marketing subject matter expert for potential investments or initiatives involving $50K+ ACV deals.

  • Prepare clear, data-driven assessments and written memos for executive leadership and investment committee discussions.

Portfolio & Ecosystem Development

  • Work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders across marketing teams and leadership groups.

  • Identify, evaluate, and cultivate relationships with best-in-class marketing vendors, platforms, agencies, and executive-level talent.

  • Build a long-term ecosystem of marketing capabilities and leaders that can be leveraged over time.


Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience & Background

  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, with significant depth in demand generation and enterprise marketing.

  • Proven success supporting mid-market and enterprise customers in B2B technology environments.

  • Experience building or scaling marketing organizations in $50–75M ARR companies or similarly staged businesses.

  • Strong exposure to less mature marketing environments (0→1 or 1→2), with a track record of building foundations that scale.

  • Experience leading B2B marketing teams directly and/or supporting them on the investor, agency, or consulting side.

  • MBA strongly preferred, especially for candidates with demonstrated financial acumen, strategic planning experience, or exposure to board-level decision-making.
