Job Title: Director, Digital Marketing (Investment Products – B2B & High Net Worth Clients)

Location: Boston, (Hybrid)

Reports to: Head of Investment Products

Job Summary

The Director-to-Vice President of Digital Marketing will spearhead the digital marketing initiatives for investment products targeted at both B2B clients and High Net Worth Individuals. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in creating and implementing a digital marketing vision, championing it with key stakeholders, and driving successful digital marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the investment sector, a data-driven approach to marketing, and a visionary mindset to lead the digital transformation of our marketing programs.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Development and Implementation

  • Develop and champion a comprehensive digital marketing vision and strategy.
  • Establish digital marketing as the core of our marketing programs, driving initiatives to enhance digital engagement and lead generation.
  • Create a 3-5 year digital roadmap aligning with business goals and market trends.
  • Design and implement effective digital marketing campaigns, optimizing for current best practices and algorithm changes.
  • Foster an analytics-based marketing culture, identifying KPIs, and implementing robust reporting to measure ROI.

Social Media and Content Management

  • Develop and manage a sophisticated social media strategy, utilizing knowledge of best practices and optimization techniques.
  • Leverage sponsored and promoted social practices to amplify reach and engagement.
  • Oversee content creation for digital platforms, ensuring alignment with brand voice and regulatory compliance.

User Experience and Lead Generation

  • Design a seamless digital marketing user journey that nurtures leads through the sales funnel.
  • Innovate the future vision for the company website, enhancing UX, user journeys, and product section organization.
  • Implement effective email marketing strategies and tools.

Technology and Analytics

  • Evaluate and optimize the current marketing tech stack, recommending and implementing enhancements.
  • Lead the integration and use of technologies such as Episerver CMS, Salesforce, Account Engagement, CVent, On24, and Seismic.
  • Maintain expertise in SEO & SEM, video and audio technologies, and industry-specific tools.

Industry Knowledge and Trends

  • Stay current on industry best practices, emerging trends, and innovations, including AI applications.
  • Serve as a business owner for the company website, partnering with development teams and employing Agile methodologies.
  • Select and manage partnerships with external consultants and vendors.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Foster a collaborative and partnership-oriented approach within the organization.
  • Provide mentorship and growth opportunities for team members, developing their skills and capabilities.
  • Exhibit an entrepreneurial attitude, continuously innovating and pushing the envelope with new ideas.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on investment products or financial services.
  • Proven track record in creating and executing successful digital marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in measuring marketing performance and generating actionable insights.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media best practices, email marketing, SEO & SEM, and digital advertising.
  • Experience with relevant marketing technologies and platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to innovate and drive change.
