Compensation: $200,000–$220,000 base + bonus + equity

The Opportunity

We are exclusively retained by a mission-driven, Private Equity–backed education organization seeking a Vice President of Marketing to lead enterprise-wide growth and enrollment strategy across multiple sites in the Southwest.

This is a high-impact, hands-on executive role reporting directly to the CEO with close partnership and visibility to the Private Equity sponsor. The VP of Marketing will modernize the full marketing ecosystem, scale enrollment, and build a performance-driven growth engine tightly aligned to revenue and business outcomes.

This role is ideal for a builder—a senior marketing leader who thrives in smaller, high-accountability environments, enjoys rolling up their sleeves, and has successfully scaled B2C enrollment-focused marketing through modern digital channels, data, and technology.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the enterprise growth and enrollment marketing strategy across multiple locations in the Southwest

  • Partner directly with the CEO and Private Equity firm on growth planning, KPI definition, and value-creation initiatives

  • Modernize the marketing stack (MarTech) including CRM, marketing automation, analytics, attribution, and performance reporting

  • Drive B2C customer acquisition, enrollment growth, and demand generation through paid media, SEO, content, lifecycle marketing, and conversion optimization

  • Build and manage a small, high-performing marketing team and external agency partners

  • Develop a test-and-learn performance marketing culture grounded in data, experimentation, and ROI

  • Translate mission and purpose into compelling brand storytelling that drives trust, engagement, and enrollment

  • Establish dashboards and reporting tied directly to revenue growth, CAC, LTV, enrollment yield, and funnel performance

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, admissions, finance, and leadership teams


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 12–15+ years of progressive B2C marketing leadership experience, with a strong emphasis on education, enrollment marketing, or mission-driven organizations

  • Deep roots in digital marketing, including paid acquisition, SEO, lifecycle marketing, CRM, and analytics

  • Proven experience modernizing marketing technology stacks and leveraging data to drive growth

  • Demonstrated success increasing enrollments, conversions, and revenue across multi-site or distributed models

  • Experience working directly with CEOs and Private Equity firms—understanding EBITDA, growth levers, and investor expectations

  • Comfortable operating in small, PE-backed environments with limited resources and high accountability

  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, player-coach mindset

  • Highly collaborative leader who can influence across teams and functions
