About the Opportunity
We’re retained to find a VP, Marketing Demand Generation for a leading private equity-backed platform built around the acquisition and growth of dermatology groups. They operates a multi-state network of clinics offering medical dermatology, pathology, and cosmetic services, with a strategy centered on patient-centered, physician-focused care and continued expansion across its markets.
Growth priorities include expanding aesthetic services, deepening patient engagement, scaling technology-enabled patient access, and increasing lifetime patient value across the platform.
The Role
This organization needs a dynamic, data-driven VP, Marketing Demand Generation to own enterprise-wide patient growth, brand strategy, and direct-to-patient marketing across an expanding, multi-state footprint. You’ll build and execute a modern, scalable marketing strategy that accelerates patient acquisition, strengthens retention, grows cosmetic and aesthetic utilization, and supports both de novo clinics and newly acquired practices.
This is a role for a strategic operator, someone who pairs sophisticated digital marketing with local market activation, CRM and patient lifecycle management, and real analytical discipline. You’ll work closely with operations, physician leadership, practice administrators, recruiting, and the executive team to drive measurable growth and a better patient experience.

- Build a scalable, enterprise-wide marketing function that can support continued geographic expansion and provider growth.
- Accelerate direct-to-patient growth through sophisticated, multi-channel acquisition and retention strategies.
- Grow aesthetic and cosmetic revenue by converting existing general dermatology patients into cosmetic patients through targeted lifecycle marketing.
- Improve patient lifetime value and retention through stronger CRM, recall, and engagement capabilities.
- Elevate local market performance with clinic-level marketing playbooks that support provider ramp-up, de novo launches, and market expansion.
- Stand up data-driven marketing infrastructure — KPI reporting, attribution, and analytics — across all markets.
- Improve the digital patient experience across scheduling, intake, communication, and follow-up.
- Strengthen brand positioning for each market brand as a leading, patient-centered dermatology provider.
- Build and develop a high-performing marketing organization capable of supporting a fast-growing, multi-site healthcare platform.
- Support growth through de novos and M&A with repeatable marketing integration and launch playbooks.

What You’ll Need
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience
- At least 5 years leading direct-to-patient marketing within multi-site healthcare provider services
- A track record of scaling consumer healthcare marketing programs across multiple geographic markets
- Deep expertise in digital performance marketing, CRM/lifecycle marketing, local market activation, patient acquisition, and marketing analytics
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar marketing budgets with real ROI accountability
- Strong analytical and operational instincts in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments
Preferred:
- Experience in dermatology, aesthetics, med spa, cosmetic surgery, or an adjacent physician practice services business
- Familiarity with patient engagement technologies, online scheduling platforms, and reputation management systems
- Experience supporting de novo clinic launches and M&A integration marketing
