VP, Customer Lifecycle & Retention

The VP, Customer Lifecycle & Retention will be responsible for developing a comprehensive, data-driven strategy to increase customer loyalty, maximize lifetime value, and reduce churn across all customer segments. This leader will oversee customer segmentation, lifecycle marketing programs, and retention campaigns across email, SMS, in-product messaging, loyalty programs, and customer engagement channels. They will partner closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure seamless customer experiences that drive adoption, satisfaction, and advocacy. The ideal candidate blends analytics, strategic vision, and hands-on execution, with a strong ability to optimize messaging, personalize engagement, and identify key moments that influence customer behavior.

  1. Design and implement customer lifecycle strategies from onboarding through renewal and re-engagement, improving retention and customer value.
  2. Lead and mentor a team responsible for CRM, loyalty, customer journey mapping, segmentation, campaign execution, and performance reporting.
  3. Build predictive models and insights to identify churn risk, product usage trends, and customer behavior patterns.
  4. Partner with Product and Customer Success to create scalable, personalized, customer touchpoints and feedback loops.
  5. Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to monitor lifecycle impact and continuously optimize performance.
