This is a proactive and highly strategic executive search being developed in anticipation of continued portfolio growth and AI-driven operational transformation initiatives across multiple private equity investments.

Our client, a growth-focused Private Equity firm, is evaluating senior AI operating leadership talent capable of partnering directly with executive leadership teams across portfolio companies to drive measurable value creation, modernization, monetization, and operational transformation through applied AI initiatives.

This is not a theoretical AI strategy role.

This executive will sit at the intersection of operational leadership, commercial growth, AI transformation, and portfolio value creation.

The AI Operating Partner will enter portfolio investments, diagnose opportunities, identify operational inefficiencies, assess revenue acceleration potential, and architect scalable AI-enabled solutions in direct partnership with CEOs, CFOs, CROs, CMOs, CTOs, and broader portfolio leadership teams.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Partner directly with portfolio company CEOs and executive leadership teams to evaluate AI-driven growth and modernization opportunities
  • Diagnose operational, commercial, customer acquisition, workflow, reporting, and monetization inefficiencies
  • Build scalable AI transformation roadmaps tied directly to enterprise value creation
  • Create AI-driven revenue acceleration strategies across sales, marketing, customer success, operations, analytics, and finance functions
  • Identify modernization opportunities within legacy operating environments
  • Develop measurable frameworks connecting AI initiatives to EBITDA growth, operational leverage, customer expansion, and valuation enhancement
  • Influence executive leadership teams and establish alignment across functional organizations
  • Create repeatable operational AI playbooks that can scale across multiple portfolio investments
  • Advise leadership teams on AI implementation priorities, organizational readiness, and execution sequencing
  • Serve as a strategic operating advisor while also maintaining hands-on execution credibility
  • Help portfolio companies build competitive differentiation through practical AI deployment rather than theoretical experimentation
  • Evaluate organizational talent gaps and help leadership teams prioritize AI-enabled hiring and operational design

  • Experience creating scalable operating frameworks and transformation roadmaps
  • Deep understanding of AI implementation realities inside growth-stage and middle-market businesses
